The Hunger Games World Premiere in L.A.

From  Mockingjay.net Shit, the hell is wrong with Facebook? I can't access it for some reason and I desperately needed to post this. People are loving  The Hunger Games.  It says so  here  from ONTD. I am super excited about this movie now. I can hardly wait. The anticipation is killing me. So much that I am spouting every cliche people utter in these moments. Liam Hemsworth is exactly what I imagine Gale would look like. He's just so handsome. I am not totally sold on Josh Hutcherson as Peeta but we'll see. And Jennifer Lawrence...as soon as I saw  Winter's Bone , I finally get it, why she got the role. God, I hope my expectations are met about this movie. Because I will never be able to live it down if the movie sucks. But so far, the consensus is that  The Hunger Games  is a scifi classic. Well and good. Now, March 23 dammit! Come on!

Can A Fish Drown?

YES! My little cousin asked me that question once and I  laughed at first but then later   found out that  fishes can drown...though not technically of course.   Fish, like people, need oxygen to live. A fish out of water, is a fish out of its element. A  fish comes fully equipped with a pair of gills, which  it uses to breathe under water. The gills extract  life-sustaining oxygen from the hydrogen in the water  molecules, in order to regulate the amount of oxygen  intake. This maintains the necessary balance of the  two components of water for the fish to survive. When a fish is taken out of water, and exposed only to  air, not to oxygen and hydrogen containing water, its  gills are unable to control the oxygen intake, the  delicate balance cannot be maintained, and the gills  inhale a lethal overdose of oxygen. The fish  essentially experiences death by "drowning."

I'm a Visual

I took this test to find out my learning style. The result was predictable. I always knew I was a visual. Visual Characteristics need an overall view and purpose and are cautious until mentally clear about an issue or project - True. Big picture first before details. are appearance-oriented in both dress and presentation - uhh I'm not a fashion plate but I do try to be neat. I generally don't want to make a spectacle of myself. are neat and orderly - generally speak quickly - lol yes. This is probably why I repeat myself to people all the time. A lot of them don't catch what I'm saying at first, something which I need to correct if I don't want to frustrate myself each time I talk to someone. I HATE (read that as "loathe") repeating myself and it easily shows in my tone of voice. are good long-range planners and organisers - Although I'm not one to follow up all my plans, I do make vague plans, one for every possible option. UK Bill on Downloading Sanctions

Internet piracy is a serious problem. All over the world, industries are losing billions to illegal downloads. There seems to be no solution. For as long as music, movies, software programs and the like are made illegally available and for as long as people have internet connection, then it seems inevitable. Personally, I think applications like iTunes and Kindle partly solve the problem. The popularity of the application has shown that people are perfectly willing to pay a minimal fee to download music or books LEGALLY if  -- and that's the operative word -- the whole mechanics is made easy and convenient for consumers. After all, that's the biggest sell of illegal downloads. It's not really because they're free. But because of easy access and convenience. However, people in the industry don't think it's enough or that it's working fast enough to overturn all their losses. After all, there are more people who illegally download stuff everyday than there

My Secret Vice

Starting tomorrow, March 5 until Sunday March 7, Crunchyroll is going to STREAM FOR FREE the world-renowned works of Makoto Shinkai to celebrate Global Shinkai Day 201 0 . Catch the free streaming of 5cm Per Second , The Place Promised in Our Early Days and Voices of A Distant Star on said dates at Crunchyroll. Click on the image below for official details of this special promo. For those who haven't heard of Makoto Shinkai, he is a fast-rising director/creator and is currently being hailed as the next Hayao Miyazaki . IMHO, he might not have Miyazaki's masterful storytelling, but he does have excellent vision that he is able to translate into gorgeous animation with emphasis on lighting and details and fantastic editing. In other news, Claymore Chapter 101 is finally out. Chapter 100, which came out last month, gave us Priscilla facing Clare once again with the latter being unable to awaken for some unknown reason. Fans were all a furor over what that reason could be.

Drabble-Matic!

Was surfing through the internet just now and found this little hilarious gem http://www.prillalar.com/drabbles/ . All you gotta do is input random adjectives, adverbs, some verbs and nouns, and voila! Instant drabble.... LMAO A White Occurrence Kiko paced up and down, jiggling his mouth. His very good friend, Mary Sue Swagger, had arranged to meet him here at the parking lot. "I have something wicked to tell you," she had said. Mary Sue Swagger was late, which was very unlike her. Any moment now, Kiko expected to see her bounce up, her nonchalant hair streaming behind her and her arrogant eyes aglow. Kiko heard footsteps, but they seemed rather nonplussed for a delicate and miscreant girl like Mary Sue Swagger, whose tread was silly. He turned around and found Takya staring at him. "What are you doing here?" Takya said slowly. "I thought you said you didn't want to see me again." Kiko had said that, but now he was beginning to wish he hadn't acte
